If you were looking for the perfect ferry or indeed an all weather launch with very comfortable seating, a sliding roof over the cabin and smart teak decking, Jemima could serve you well. Originally powered by twin inboard diesels, these were replaced in 2018 with a ZT 370 Yanmar outdrive, when the boat had a major refit in Poole. The new outboard has done very few hours and presents as new.
The hull built by Camper and Nicolson in 1969 is on plywood on sawn frames. The hull is painted with dark blue enamel and everything looks to be in order now following a survey in 2015 when the surveyor pointed out a number of areas which required attention. Originally built as a twin diesel outdrive planing yacht tender for the classic Vosper Thornycroft superyacht Shemara the cabin interior was designed to seat 8 passengers for ship to shore work with a low 'coffee' table. Skipper and crew sit comfortably in the forward cockpit which is lined in varnished mahogany ply.
Unfortunately following the death of the owner the boat has lain on its trailer and is now for sale at our Beale Park boat store and open to sensible offers.
