1947 Stebbings Motor Cruiser

Sonbar is a beautifully crafted motor cruiser built in 1947 by Stebbings to a design by J.H. Hardman. Measuring 33'6" in length with a 10'2" beam and a 3' draft, she is a fine example of post-war British boatbuilding, robust, elegant, and wonderfully usable.

Lovingly maintained over the years, Sonbar remains powered by her original twin Ford Parsons D80 four-cylinder diesel engines, a testament to both their reliability and the care she has received. Her previous long-term owner cherished her for over a decade, keeping her in fine fettle, and she has been enjoyed by her current owner for one season.
