Knockballymore is a sturdy steel motoryacht of unknown origin but probably Dutch and built in 1976. However we do know that it used to be called L'Ebeniste and what a suitable moniker this is for an interior in many different woods, with excellent craftmanship on show throughout. You might feel as though you are living in a treehouse afloat and certainly there is plenty of room to live aboard long term if you should so wish as well as plenty of storage both in the aft cabin and in the spacious galley.

Most of the internal fit out has been completed using upcycled wood including old science laboratory benches and the result is very successful thanks to the skill of the current owner. He has also paid attention to the superstructure and the hull with a recent survey available for a potential owner. During the period of the survey when the boat was out of the water in June 2024 there was time for a full repaint with Jotamastic epoxy system below the waterline and two pack paint above.

In the main saloon the furniture is loose so you can reimagine whatever you like to suit your needs. Obviously for long distance cruising you may wish to have some permanently fitted furniture installed. For the past decade at least the boat has been moored on the Thames but there is no reason it could not go further afield.

The aft deck doubles as a flying bridge offering additional living space.

The TMD 40A diesel was built by Volvo Penta and has been regularly maintained and serviced. Registered tonnage is 10.2 tons. There are two fresh water tanks of approximately 80 gallons each, an electric toilet with an 80 gallon holding tank and a 100 gallon fuel tank for propuslion with an additional 25 gallon fuel tank for the Eberspacher heating (fuelling radiators and hot water for galley and heads/shower).
