The Classic Boat Charter Collection comprises a range of stylish iconic river launches operated by Henley Sales and Charter Ltd, specialists in the charter business since the late nineteen eighties. No one knows the mid reaches of the Thames better than the HSC team who can provide the perfect boat for any occasion from an elegant vintage motor launch for a romantic cruise, to a large party boat for a corporate function or celebration; either solo, with drinks and food onboard or teamed with a restaurant or hotel reservation.

We can advise on perfect picnic spots, provide scrumptious hampers, tempting canapés, a fantastic full lunch or supper menu, provide your very own on board chef and even have an incredible wine list for you to choose from. Our cruising ground extends from Windsor to Oxford, covering some of the most tranquil backwaters in the UK as well as world renowned landmarks such as Windsor Castle, Cliveden House, the Henley Royal Regatta course and Mapledurham Watermill.

The Classic Boat Charter Collection includes a choice of a stunning Steam Boats (Windsor Belle), three characterful 12-seater launches (Estel, Fringilla and Lisbeth), two smaller launches for 8 to 10 (Larus and Woodland Lily). If you need something larger there is the iconic Princess Marina and historic Devon Belle for parties of up to 50. For luxury days on the river, New Venture is the perfect choice. Plus there is our little treasure, Pietra Santa for weddings, picnics and cruising.

From our new town centre office, we are delighted to be offering self drive options to include Midsomer Maiden for up to 12 guests, with a mandatory skipper for the less experienced. With a loo and galley on board she is ideal for family groups or corporate days out on the river. For five or six, or even just the two of you, there is Moules Frites, or for the more experienced boater we have Jobelle, an Andrews slipper stern launch. The E type of the river, these sleek motor boats were ubiquitous in the hire fleets of the fifties but today we are the only company on the Thames still hiring out a slipper.  As modern materials have replaced wood so these elegant classics have taken shelter in boathouses, emerging with their private owners for festivals and genteel afternoons with a glass of Pimms and a straw hat.
