Commissioned by Sir Cameron Mackintosh in 1991 at the London boat show and now thirty years old, you could say that this exceptional launch was no longer in its prime. However it is a true contemporary classic with its low wash, low maintenance hull topped by a charming cabin in varnished mahogany with a convertible saloon interior to enable sleeping for two on occasion. The boat was built to the highest standard and has had three caring owners since new. A boat of this calibre today would cost in excess of £150,000 to build. Salad Days is ready to go with a decent little galley complete with fridge and cooker, heads and two roomy cockpits. Shelter is provided by canopies forward and aft with roll down transparent windows and a full length winter cover.
