Rose O'Dea

13,950

Rose O'Dea is a beautifully restored classic boat with a rich history dating back to around 1904. Originally thought to have been built on the east coast of Scotland and used as a loch trawler, this charming vessel underwent a major conversion to a pleasure boat by Martham Boats in 2000. A Nanni 3 cylinder diesel engine was installed at this point in the boat's history. We do however know that in the sixties and seventies the boat was seen often around the Bourne End area on the thames and was steam powered at this stage in her long life.

The boat's hull is constructed of oak on larch (with a 21" draft) and the new mahogany aft deck adds a touch of elegance and durability, enhancing both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the vessel.

She has wheel steering mounted on a binnacle giving the helm an all round view of boat and guests which makes her ideal for entertaining.

The boat has a comfortable and stylish interior with burgundy cushioned seating, wooden benches, and a central table, perfect for social gatherings and leisure cruises. She comes fit with a burgundy canopy that can be rolled up or down, offering versatility for different weather conditions.

Rose O'Dea is a member of the prestigious Thames Vintage Boat Club, with Plaque No. TVET 116 and Membership No. 158.

This boat has been lovingly maintained and is in good condition overall, ready for its next adventure on the water.
