Harriet is a charming and spacious harbour launch which would be equally at home on a river with seating all around for 8 and a varnished elliptical table top over the engine which has good insulation to prevent your glass from sliding onto the deck ! The Beta Marine 3 cylinder diesel engine was fitted during last year's refurbishment since which time the owner has barely used the boat. The decks are traditional laid teak while the faux teak flooring is complemented by varnished mahogany seating to port and starboard. The laminated tiller is quite a feature as is the aft steadying sale. There is of course a sprayhood with a zipped tonneau for storage as well as a winter cover for storage. The trailer is not deemed to be fit for road transport but does fine as a launching trailer on the local slipway where the boat is currently located in Cornwall. The owner did an excellent job of giving me a virtual tour including beneath the sole to reveal clean and tidy bilges inside the GRP hull. He is willing to do likewise for an interested potential purchaser. For use on the river one would have to have an inspection for the BSS certificate but any competent boatyard can prepare your boat for this inspection. Equally we have plenty of options for collection by a professional transport company to any location in the UK.
