If you have always wanted to experience the Thames from the decks of the closest we get to a superyacht on the inland waterways, then an outing on Breda is for you. Her illustrious history includes her time acting as part of the fleet which we now know as Dunkirk Little Ships and although then named Dab II her activity in terms of repatriating troops included rescuing Dutch soldiers who hailed from Breda in Holland. Hence the name change after the war.
She was built in Lowestoft in 1931 by JW Brooke and Co. who continued to build fabulous boats right through until the nineteen eighties. You can expect art deco touches throughout the boat, a well stocked bar, a galley, heads and plenty of room on deck for admiring the passing scenery.
Breda is based in Windsor but can also pick up guests as far downstream as Chertsey and upstream as far as Henley (both at extra cost). We can supply skipper, crew, on board chef, photographer.... Your wish is our command. Why not organise a 1930s themed fancy dress outing for your birthday ? Skipper Alain will most definitely join you !
If you are looking to do something special as a family or a group of friends please enquire about spending the day on board Breda.
